3D render of an 18' by 24' by 8' structure.
A Shedfarm is an open-source, DIY, community agriculture project intended for high yields of organic-like produce in areas with limited space (backyards, rooftops, abandoned land plots, community common areas, etc.). It is intended to be an inexpensive, practical, and easy to operate option for families and communities to provide themselves with abundant fresh, organic-like food as well as the potential for modest revenues, should the family or community choose to operate a Shedfarm as a for-profit cooperative corporation.
An example facility would consist of a single structure measuring approximately 24' by 18' by 8'. It could house over 4,100 plants and cost under $5,500 to set up with negligible operating costs.

I can build the same thing out of scap, but maybe not as pretty for maybe $500.00. The biggest delima is after its built. Government scientists have screwed up the seed genetics so you cant grow many natural replenishing vegetables.
